Kottayam: The preliminary works leading to track doubling in Ettumanur – Kottayam – Chingavanam section will be carried out in three stages from 04th February, 2022 to 05th March, 2022. The following trains will be diverted/regulated for facilitating the works.
DIVERSION via ALAPPUZHA
1. Train No. 22647 Korba – Kochuveli Biweekly Superfast leaving Korba on 05th, 09th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th February and 02nd March 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha on 07th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 25th, 28th February and 04th March 2022 (08 Services). The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Trippunithura, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional temporary stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam South, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad for the convenience of passengers.
2. Train No. 17230 Secunderabad Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Daily Sabari Express leaving Secunderabad Jn. from 06th February to 04th March 2022 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara from 07th February to 05th March 2022 (27 days). Additional temporary stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam South, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad for the convenience of passengers.
3. Train No. 16649 Mangalore Central – Nagercoil Junction Daily Parasuram Express leaving Mangalore Central. from 14th February to 23rd February 2022 (10 days) will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Trippunithura, Piravam Road, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Mavelikara. Additional temporary stoppage permitted at Ernakulam South, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad for the convenience of passengers.
4. Train No. 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Daily Kerala Express will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha from 14th February to 23rd February 2022 (10 days). The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Vaikkom Road. Additional temporary stoppage permitted at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn. for the convenience of passengers.
5. Train No. 12202 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak Biweekly Garib Rath Express leaving Kochuveli on 17th and 20th February 2022 (2 service) will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional temporary stoppage permitted at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn. for the convenience of passengers.
6. Train No. 18567 Visakhapatnam – Kollam Jn. Biweekly Express leaving Visakhapatnam Jn. on 17th Feburary, 2022 (1 Service) will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Alappuzha on 18th February, 2022. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla and Chengannur. Additional temporary stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Amabalappuzha and Haripad for the convenience of passengers.
REGULATION
1. Train No. 15906 Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari Weekly Vivek Express will be regulated for 45 minutes in Ernakulam Town – Kottayam section on 15th and 22nd February 2022. On 01st March, 2022, the train will be regulated for 15 minutes in the same section (Ernakulam-Kottayam).
2. Train No. 12778 Kochuveli – SSS Hubballi Weekly Superfast will be regulated for 30 minutes in Kayamkulam – Kottayam section on 17th February, 2022.
3. Train No. 22678 Kochuveli – Yeshwantpur Junction Weekly Superfast will be regulated for 30 minutes in Kayamkulam – Kottayam section on 18th February, 2022.
4. Train No. 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Daily Kerala Express will be regulated for 35 minutes at Kottayam on 24th, 25th February and 03rd and 04th March 2022 (4 services). The train will be regulated for 35 minutes in Kayamkulam – Kottayam section on 27th February, 2022.
